Mongolia’s weightlifter M.Ankhtsetseg is now training to compete in the World Weightlifting Championships 2019 to be held in the Kingdom of Thailand on September 18-27.

M.Ankhtsetseg has represented Mongolia at international competitions and continental and world championships including the Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships, the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships and 2016 Summer Olympics in the women’s 69 kg category.

She made historic records in Mongolian weightlifting, becoming champion of the Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships and the Students’ World Weightlifting Championships; she also won a bronze medal from the World Weightlifting Championships.
