Fifty-eight elderly veterans will receive the keys to new homes today. The Ministry of Defense will hand the keys to 50 veterans, while the ministry of Social Welfare and Labor will present keys to eight others. Veterans who served in Khalkhiin gol conflicts in 1939 are eligible for new homes under laws passed in 2008 and 2009. So far, 1,620 veterans have received homes from the Government. Another 396 are still slated to receive homes.
