Entitled ‘Two Nations – One Victory’, a photo exhibition will open at Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar on 2 September. The exhibition is being co-organised by Montsame and the Russian Sputnik Agency to mark the 80^th anniversary of the Victory of the Battle of Khalkhin Gol.

Over 50 rare photos of Khalkhin Gol will be showcased at the exhibition such as the crash of an enemy aircraft, Mongolian and Soviet troops about to go into action, Marshal Kh.Choilbalsan’s meeting soldiers from the joint force, and items seized from Japanese soldiers. In addition, there are over 20 photos of the Selenge joint military drill by Mongolian Russian soldiers of today.
