The Ulaanbaatar Railway Joint Stock Company has announced that the monthly salaries of all its employees will be raised by 10 percent from 1 September. The company has raised the monthly salaries for three consecutive years. Furthermore, the annual bonuses have been increased by 200 times for last two years. The company has over 15,000 employees.

The Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC is marking the 70^th anniversary of its establishment this year.

In 2018, freight transport of the company reached 25.8 million tonnes – an all-time high.
