An unusual competition for restoring old military vehicles was held in Dornod province at the weekend.

B.Odgiiv who restored GAZ-51 truck manufactured in Russia won first place at the competition; he was followed by, a M415 Pickup from 1937 by B.Munkh-chudur and M.Bat-Erdene’s Trabant 601 manufactured in 1962.

The competition was co-organized by the Commission responsible for organizing the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Khalkhin Gol Battle, the Dornod Provincial Auto Transport Centre and Traffic Police Department.
