Imagine you are driving in UB and are not in a traffic jam – as you pass a group of pedestrians in the rain, remember to slow down before you splash them with water from that large puddle on the side of the road – otherwise it could cost you!
Under the Offensive Act, drivers in Ulaanbaatar could be slapped with a fine of as much as MNT 100,000 or USD 37 if they are caught driving through a puddle and causing a pedestrian to be splashed.
Recently, many pedestrians have filed complaints to the Ulaanbaatar City Transport Police Department for being splashed.
