Passengers can now buy railway tickets to Russian cities, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), European destinations as well as some cities of China from Mongolia. You can book the tickets by calling 21-242471 or visiting the ticket desk at Ulaanbaatar Railway Station.

Ulaanbaatar’s railway station is mostly used by travellers for international trips along the Trans-Mongolian railway. There is an ATM and foreign exchange, mobile phone support and an information centre in the main building. In the adjacent building is the ticket office for both domestic (1st floor) and international (2nd floor) departures.
