Contortionist to tightrope walk across Mongolia’s Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall

Mongolian contortionist  M.Myagmarsaikhan is planning to walk a tightrope across the Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall in Bat-Ulzii Soum of Uvurkhangai Province on 11 August.  He aims to walk the 65-long tightrope 25 metres above the ground. This is the first time tightrope walking has been undertaken in the beautiful landscape in Mongolia.

M.Myagmarsaikhan has been collaborating with world renowned tightrope walker and 22-time Guinness World Record Holder Freddy Nock from Switzerland since 2005 and started performing high-wire or skywalk act.

M.Myagmarsaikhan raced across a 1-km long rope at 30 meter high over South Korea’s Han River during the 2009 High Wire World Championship in Seoul. He accomplished the mission in 12 minutes and 55 seconds and was ranked in fourth place.

Previously, he crossed on a 120-meter long rope between two 30-meter tall cranes wearing fireworks at night in Switzerland in 2005.
