Mongolia’s first ever Boeing 737-300 cargo aircraft landed at Chinggis Khan international airport on Saturday. With a weight of 20,000 tons, the Boeing 737-300 cargo aircraft can travel up to 5,250 km.

Mongolian Airways Cargo LLC is planning to conduct transportation by the Boeing 737-300 to four cities namely; Beijing, Huh Hot, Hong Kong and Seoul.

This represents a significant event for the Mongolian air sector because air cargo has been increasing steadily over recent years. In 2018, a total of 5,339 tons of cargo were transported by air, 6 percent more than the same period the year before.
