The International Basketball Federation 3×3 World Cup is continuing in Amsterdam. However, the Mongolia’s Men’s Team finished its competition after has been listed in third place in Pool D.

Mongolia suffered two defeat in two matches yesterday (20 June), first being defeated by Puerto Rico 21:18 and then by Ukraine 18:17. Had  Mongolia defeated Ukraine, then they would have been able to continue in the competition.

Previously, Mongolia moved to the top of Pool B as the only side to secure two wins on the opening day, including a tense 14-12 victory over Russia. They followed this up with a 20-17 victory over Estonia to top the pool despite having only the fourth-best point’s average of the five teams.
