Asiana Airlines to fly to Ulaanbaatar three times a week

Asiana Airlines Inc., South Korea’s second-largest major airline, will jointly run direct flights between Incheon, which is Seoul’s main airport, and Ulaanbaatar with Korea Air Lines which had enjoyed exclusive right in the sky route with Mongol over the past 30 years.

With the addition of Asiana Airlines’ services, flights will run nine times a week on the route, up from the current six times operated by Korean Air alone. For this, Asiana Airlines will deploy Airbus A330-300, a mid-sized plane with 290 seats.

Asiana Airlines will fly from Seoul to Ulaanbaatar on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and from Ulaanbaatar to Seoul on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between 9 July and 31 August.
