The matches of FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup have been successfully continuing in the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar. This is the first World Cup event in the team sport history of Mongolia. Over 500 basketball players from 43 countries are participating in the competition. The special guests visiting Ulaanbaatar in connection with the event are Alex Sanchez, executive of FIBA 3×3 and Robert Reblinger, who is development manager.
Mongolia’s U18 National Team won a bronze medal at the Asian Championships and successfully participated in the Youth Olympics in 2018. The Mongolian 3×3 Basketball Association is hosting the competition, which became the first-ever 3×3 event organized by FIBA (in Rimini, Italy) back in 2011.
