Earlier today (30 May), the Democratic Party of Mongolia organised a demonstration on Ulaanbaatar’s Sukhbaatar Square against the government. S.Erdene, leader of the DP said at a press conference on 22 May that: ‘there is currently no political opposition movement besides the DP which stands up for the Mongolian people. So, we are going to hold a demonstration protesting against the government.’
On 5 April, the party held a demonstration protesting against MP’s who had allegedly received illegal soft loans from the SME fund, which is run by the Ministry of Agriculture and Light Industry.
