The Mongolian authorities have decided to grant citizens of the State of Qatar visas on arrival which will be valid for one month. The new ruling came into effect on May 15.

Mongolian citizens can obtain e-visas for travelling to Qatar for up to 30 days as tourists. The applicant is not required to be present when applying for visa; a total of 8 documents are required.

Mongolia and Qatar established diplomatic ties on 23 January 1998. Relations and cooperation between the two countries have been active in recent years – particularly in the field of defence.
