Since last year, the Ulaanbaatar City Administration has been running regular bus excursions around the Mongolian capital and nearby places of interest. The Ulaanbaatar City Tour Bus will begin its 2019 service from Monday (27 May) providing safe and comfortable travel for both tourists and locals. Over 200 foreign tourists used Ulaanbaatar city Tour Bus last year.
The tickets of the tour bus cost MNT 25,000 for short distance and MNT 70,000 for all day services. This year, the organisers have discounted the price of tickets for foreigners by 50 percent. Ulaanbaatar is the main transit zone for foreign arrivals in Mongolia; over 92 percent of arrivals pass through the city. Tickets are being sold at tourists information centers in four locations in the city.
In addition, the tour buses will provide trips to the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, the Manzushir Monastery, the Chinggis Khuree Camp, the Aglag Buteel Monastery and the Khustain Nuruu National Park.
