As of the end of 2018, the population in Mongolia stood at 3.2 million; nearly 40 percent of whom are 18-years-old and younger. Mongolians are one of the world’s oldest nationalities, however, Mongolia is a ‘young country’, especially when one considers that over one third are children.
Last year, the Mongolian Government decided to hold an annual fair for children in May under the auspices of the Prime Minister and the director of the Mongolian National Committee for Children. Ahead of International Children Day, a fair for children will be held at the National Park in Ulaanbaatar on 25-26 May.
