The Representative Office of Taiwan to Mongolia has donated over 100 hospital beds and other medical equipment to Khovd, a province in the far west of Mongolia. Earlier this month, a total of 109 manually-controlled beds and 20 patient beds were handed over to the Bulgan Soum General Hospital – a rural part of the region.
Khovd Province is located 1400 kilometres (870 miles) from Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.
