‘Top Secret 2: Battle of Baitag Bogd’ has won the Grand Prix with a cash prize of MNT 100 million at the Cinema Awards-2019. The event was held at Ulaanbaatar’s Shangri-La Hotel on 2 May. The awards ceremony was attended by 16 Hollywood guests who had been invited to the ‘Hollywood in Mongolia’ international film festival.

The awards nominated the top 10 films which led its revenue from over 30 movies premiered in Urgoo cinemas in 2017 and 2018.

The winners are as follows:

Best actor –M.Bayarbat from Fantastic Production for ‘Top Secret 2: Battle of Baitag Bogd’

Best actress – N.Odonchimeg for her role in ‘Insane Mother’ movie based on a Chinese novel.

Best director – B.Tamir for ‘Top Secret 2: Battle of Baitag Bogd’

Best producer – B.Amarsaikhan for ‘Mongolian Connection’

Best screenplay- S.Sumiya for The Legend of Gobi, created by UBS TV.

Best background music – Amidrology

Best make-up – Insane Mother
