Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia was peaceful until shooting happened earlier today (26 April) in Zuun Ail, which is part of the Sukhbaatar District. The shooting occurred near a busy bus stop at 7.00 a.m. According to one source, a man in his 60’s shot himself; evidently, it was suicide because he left notes. What is strange, is the police have failed to find his firearm. Independent sources said that the man was seriously ill and mentally unstable. He reportedly lived in the Sukhbaatar District, which is where Zuun Ail (meaning ‘one hundred households’) is located. An investigation into the incident is underway.
