Mongolia began its Under-19 Women’s International Gold Cup campaign in style with a stunning 3-0 win over Tajikistan in their Group A opening match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.

Captain T.Undral and midfielder T.Enkhmargad scored one goal each in the first half before defender N.Delgerzaya converted a penalty kick in the second half to earn full three points for Mongolia.

Tajikistan created some chances in the second half, but all of their attempts went in vain. Mongolia will play their next match against Laos on Thursday while Tajikistan will face the same side on Saturday.
