Belarus and Mongolia have signed an intergovernmental general agreement on providing an export loan to enable deliveries of Belarusian machinery, vehicles, and other equipment to Mongolia.
The document was signed during the visit of a Belarusian delegation to Mongolia. The group was led by Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Ogorodnikov and included representatives of MTZ (Minsk Tractor Plant), MAZ (Minsk Car Plant), Gomselmash, Bobruiskagromash, Mogilevliftmash, Pozhsnab, and the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
In the next few years, representatives of Belarus and Mongolia are expected to arrange deliveries of fire-fighting equipment, agricultural machines, municipal vehicles, road construction and road cleaning vehicles, passenger lifts, and railway cars.
The sides also agreed the date for the next session of the Belarus-Mongolia commission on trade and economic cooperation. The session will take place in June 2019.
