The Mongolian film industry has been long been in need of new legal regulations and standards. However, things are set to change; earlier today (16 April) Yo.Baatarbileg, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports presented a bill on the film arts to Speaker of Parliament G.Zandanshatar. The bill was backed by the cabinet last week.

The bill aims to develop the Mongolian film industry and bring domestic movie making to international standards.
