Nepal’s Secretary for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mohan Krishna Sapkota and President of the Union of Asian Alpine Association (UAAA) Inn-Jeong Lee jointly have announced a 16-member expedition to Paldor Peak (5,903m). The statement was made in Kathmandu on Sunday 7 April. The team includes two Mongolian climbers, Ganbaatar and Elbeg-Jargal
At least 16 climbers from Mongolia, Nepal and Korea left for Langtang Region on Sunday to attempt to climb the peak, which is situated in the Ganesh Himal range. The climbers hope to complete their expedition by 16 April.
