The International Army Games-2019 will take place in 10 countries including Mongolia this summer. Mongolia is one of three new countries which have been chosen, along with Russia, to co-organise the competitions in 2019. Currently, 104 teams from 13 countries have registered in the 32 categories of the Games. Mongolia will host the international war horse competition entitled ‘Aravt’ (from the word for ‘ten’; this was the smallest unit of Chinggis Khaan’s army) later this month.
Previously, the Mongolian Armed Forces has sent its teams to contests of ‘Tank Biathlon’, ‘Field Kitchen’ and ‘Sniper’s Frontier’.
