An 85-year-old Mongolian athlete has won a gold medal at the World Masters Athletics Championships. He became world champion in the 400 meters race in the competition after beating senior athletes from Japan, Germany, Great Britain and the USA.

The championships are currently taking place in Torun, Poland and will conclude on 30 March.
