Major General A.Ganbat has been appointed as a Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces. The appointment was discussed and approved during a meeting of the corresponding Parliamentary Standing Committee and the plenary session of the Parliament today (26 March).

In accordance with Section 8 of Article 13 of the Law on the President of Mongolia and Clause 10 of Section 1 of Article 11 of the Law on the Armed Forces of Mongolia, President Battulga issued a decree appointing A.Ganbat as the Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces on the same day.
