Today, 15 March, is World Sleep Day. Not surprisingly, this day was chosen for the opening ceremony of a sleep disorder centre. The facility is the first of its kind and was opened at the General Hospital for ‘Special’ Civil Servants

While increased demands at work and home certainly play a factor in our sleeplessness, many people experience sleep deprivation because of a chronic, and often undiagnosed, sleep disorders.

Although it has been in operation since November 2018, the official opening took place today. Currently, 37 people have received treatment for sleeping disorders. It remains to be seen how long it will be before normal civil servants and the Mongolian public as a whole can benefit with help for sleepless nights.
