Canadian Embassy to Mongolia has given information about Canadian Fund at a meeting in Central Tower earlier today (15 March).

The Canadian Fund was established in Mongolia in 1997. Until now, it has financed modest development assistance projects – a total of MNT 13.8 to 426 projects in Mongolia. The fund will receive project-proposals from Mongolian individuals from April, 2019. The Canada Fund also focuses on the cross-cutting themes of environmental sustainability and gender equality, so projects addressing these issues are ideal.

In total 62.5 percent of projects financed by Canadian Fund in 2018 were focused on local development.
