A court in the Chingeltei district has sentenced O. Ganbold, also known as DJ Uujii, to 12 years for attempted drug smuggling. Hearing the case were two senior judges. Prosecutor G. Mijiddorj asked the judges to sentence O. Ganbold to 15 years in jail. Mr. Ganbold’s attorney, B. Manlaijav, argued for a lighter sentence. After two hours of discussion the court sentenced Mr. Ganbold to 12 years in jail.
