Taking place in an old Roman amphitheatre, the Verona Opera Festival now in its 97^th year is marking the 50th anniversary of the debut of the  great Spanish tenor Placido Domingo.

Two Mongolian baritones will be among the 80 other best opera singers from around the world who will be gathering at this special event. E.Amartuvshin and Ch.Badral will both perform at the Verona Arena, a Roman amphitheatre, dating from the year 30 AD, in Piazza Bra. The opera festival will open on 21 June.

Without doubt, the star of the festival will be Placido Domingo himself who will be performing at the Verona Arena.  .
