A Mongolian delegation led by D.Amarbayasgalan, Secretary General of Mongolian People’s Party are currently visiting Hanoi. Politburo member and permanent member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong received the Mongolian delegation yesterday. Mr. Vuong said the visit affords the two parties’ leaders a chance to lay an important foundation to foster their traditional friendship and ties between the two countries in diverse areas.
He suggested that the two parties continue working effectively together at regional and global forums for the sake of peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.
D.Amarbayasgalan briefed his host on Mongolia’s political and socio-economic situation, as well as the MPP’s activities, adding that exchanges between the two parties contribute to intensifying the traditional friendship between the two parties, countries, and people. Later, they signed a memorandum of understanding on strengthening cooperation between the two parties.
During the stay, the delegation held working sessions with leaders of the Hanoi municipal and Quang Ninh provincial party committees, as well as visited several cultural establishments in Hanoi and the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site at Ha Long Bay.
