Top Mongolian fighter aims to win back world champion title

Former world champion of ‘One Championship’, “Legend FC” J.Narantungalag will take on Vietnamese fighter Martin Nguen on 12 April. The match will take place in Manila. If J.Narantungalag wins the match, he will recover his world champion title.

43 years-old J.Narantungalag has 14 wins and four loses in professional rings.

In 2014, J.Narantungalag was declared the new champion of the ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He fought against Japanese reigning champion Koji Oishi and defeated him with the unanimous decision of the judges in the featherweight class (66 kg) to earn the title. He dominated all three rounds with combinations and strikes.

However, he was defeated by Russian Marat Gafuravt in 2015 and lost the title.
