The FESPO, international fair for holidays and travel took place in Zurich from 31 January to 3 February, 2019. On this occasion, the organisers invited Mongolia to participate in the event as a guest country – the first from Asia in ten years.

The fair allows the guest country to position its stand at the centre of the exhibition hall, surrounded with Swiss tour operators. Moreover, information about Mongolia will be published in a magazine that will be distributed to 300 thousand readers all over Zurich.

A total of 15 Mongolian companies such as Ger Gu Travel, Ayan Travel and MIAT have been advertising their activity. Furthermore, Mongolian traditional costumes, art, calligraphy and wrestling items were exhibited at the expo.

It is worth noting that FESPO, which is the largest holiday fair in Switzerland, attracts over 600 exhibitors and about 65 thousand visitors.
