The Mongolian Cabinet has approved an order to give cash awards to individuals who promote the country’s cultural heritage both nationally and globally. Recently, 87 year-old Mongolian singer D.Dulam was awarded by MNT 30 million.
D.Dulam was born in 1932 in Ulziit soum, which is in the Uvurkhangai province. She was taught Mongolian long songs by her mother. D.Dulam became famous for the song “Dumun” and her distinctive singing style.
