The appointment of the Mongolian ambassadors to Thailand, Australia and South Korea has been pending for over a year-and-a-half. Both the cabinet and the State Great Khural (parliament) have appointed N.Chimguundari as ambassador to Thailand, G.Tenger to Australia and B.Khurts to South Korea. However, Mongolian President Kh.Battulga has been adamantly refusing to present them with their letters of credence.

Subsequently, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, has made a requested to the parliamentary group of the Mongolian People’s Party to recall these nominees and submit different candidates.
