‘Appreciation Poem’ by poet B.Battulga has won first place at the country’s most important poetry festival – the ‘Bolor Tsom’ (Golden Goblet). The festival took place at the Borjigin Theatre in Gobisumber Province on 5 January.

This year, 27 poets from the Russian Republics of Kalmykia, Buryatia and Tuva, as well as Inner Mongolia (China) participated in the festival.

The ‘Bolor Tsom’ poetry festival was first organized by People’s Poet D.Purevdorj in 1983.
