Indonesia and Mongolia have agreed to increase trade relations by boosting exports and imports, Djauhari Oratmangun, the Indonesian Ambassador to China and Mongolia stated.
“Right now, the value of our trade with Mongolia is relatively small, and we need to increase it,” he stated at a business forum held in Ulaanbaatar on Friday.
The ambassador noted that trade between the two countries has shown a downward trend over the past four years.
In 2016, the bilateral trade moved up again to USD17.45 million and fell slightly USD 17.37 million in 2017.
Trade between Indonesia and Mongolia is projected to decline to USD 9.5 million this year.
