The Democratic Party held its IX Congress in State Palace earlier today (5 December). The event was attended by 1040 members of the party; 380 of them are members of its National Policy Committee.
The party discussed a total of seven issues which had been set out in the leader’s political report, as well as the action plan, approving draft basic rules and planning the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the democratic movement in Mongolia.
Recently, the party has faced some difficulties such as MP L.Bold’s announcement that he plans to leave the DP group in the parliament.
