Seven female wrestlers from the Mongolian National Free Wrestling Team led by coach, International Master of Sports U.Uuganbayar has successfully participated in the Russian Cup. The competition was held in Cheboksary, a western Russian city, on the River Volga between 30 November and 1 December.

Six Mongolian wrestlers took medals; two golds and four bronzes. But International Master of Sports E.Gantuya from Hilchin Sports Club was defeated by International Master of Sport A.Battsetsetseg from the Hasu Megastars Sports Club for the medals’ match.

Mongolian State Honoured Athlete S.Tserenchimed (57 kg) from the Aldar Sports Club and International Master of Sport Kh.Bolortuya (65 kg) from Avragch Sports Club took gold medals.

International Master of Sport E.Sumiya (53 kg) from Hilchin Sports Club, International Master of Sport Ts.Namuuntsetseg (50 kg), International Master of Sport B.Shoovdor (59 kg) and International Master of Sport A.Battsetseg (62 kg) from Hasu Megastars Sports Club as well as State Aonoured athlete O.Nasanburmaa (72) from the Altai Construction LLC won bronze medals.

International Master of Sport A.Battsetseg set a record of winning medals every time she participated in the Russian Cup.  In addition, she has won medals in four weight categories (53, 55, 57 and 62 kg).
