Tokyo Grand Slam silver medallist D.Amartuvshin has won his seventeenth Grand Prix medal which puts him joint third on the all-time list with Natalie Powell (GBR).

D.Amartuvshin defeated 2016 Budapest Grand Prix winner Aoki Dai (JPN) in the gold medal contest after five minutes with a golden score in the Hague.

In the second semi-final, D.Amartuvshin defeated former world champion B.Ganbat who received his marching orders after receiving a third ‘shido’ for passivity.
