India is hosting the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship in New Delhi. During the event, Mongolian athlete M.Myagmarjargal will fight against world number one and 2016 Olympic and World Silver medalist Nouchka Mireille Fontijn of the Netherlands in the 75 kg weight category. If M.Myagmarjargal defeats this strong opponent, then she will be able to enter the Top 8. Previously, she defeated her Argentina’s opponent. A total of 24 boxers are registered in her weight category.

A record number of 277 boxers are striving for glory from 62 countries to stake a place for the world title in ten weight divisions spread across ten days. Team Mongolia is participating in seven weight categories.
