In recent years, Mongolian actors have finally arrived in Hollywood.  One of the most recent such arrivals is Mongolian state-honoured artist D.Gursed, who is playing a role in a movie based on the best-selling novel ‘Waiting for the Barbarians’ by J. M. Coetzee. Hollywood star Johnny Depp is producing and playing in a role in the movie. Filming is currently underway in Morocco.

Also, starring in ‘Waiting for the Barbarians’ is Mongolian actress B.Ganchimeg – who is also known as Gana Bayarsaikhan. Previously, she played in a role in ‘Wonder Woman’, a  2017 Hollywood movie about fictional superhero and ‘Ex Machina’ 2014. She also stars in the 2018 release ‘Sweet Lies’.
