Mongolia expands search operation for two Chinese tourists

It has been two weeks since two Chinese tourists went missing in Khuvsgul Province, a famous tourist destination in Mongolia. According to an official source, a 25 year-old man with a 28 year-old woman did not return after they went mountain climbing on 18 October. The Chinese citizens said they would stay on the mountain for three days. However, on 25 October, when they failed to return, the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted and formed rescue team of 32 people including locals to look for them. However, the rescue team has not been able to find them. So now, NEMA has established a temporary base  45 km from Khatgal village in Khuvsgul Province and has expanded the search operation for the two Chinese tourists
