For the next five years, Mongolian medical students will be able to study free of charge at a Japanese university on a 100 percent scholarship. Earlier today (30 October), Ts.Tsogzolmaa, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports signed an MoU with Takenori Shimizu, President of the International University of Health and Welfare. Within the framework of the memorandum, up to ten Mongolian medical students will receive scholarships every year.
The Mongolian students will be able to study in nine categories such as nursing, physiotherapy, reflex therapy, optics, phonetics and acoustics as well as pharmacy in the Japanese university.
The Japanese side will fully cover the expenses of the Mongolian students, which will be JPY 9.7-18 million per student.
