Mongolian police arrested R.Ganzorig, executive director of ‘Magnai Trade’, also known as the MT fuel importing company, along with his son on 8 October.  They were released by decision of the First Court yesterday (9 October) after their lawyer made a complaint.

According to a police source, they are being investigated for money laundering and fraud.

Their arrest came after fuel prices increased by MNT 50-250 in Mongolia; ‘Magnai Trade’ is one of the country’s biggest fuel importers.
