Three Mongolian traditional wrestlers have been banned from competitions by the country’s National Wrestling Association. Subsequently, the wrestlers cannot compete in the traditional Naadam Festival, which is held annually on 10-13 July.
Under the Naadam rules, wrestlers who win five matches of the competition are supposed to undergo doping tests. However, three wrestlers namely, “Garuda” N.Ganbaatar, “Falcon” A.Tsatsavshir and “Falcon” Ts.Byamba-Ochir were tested positive for banned substances.
