The first Mongolian academic school was built in Ikhtamir Soum of Arkhangai Province in 1917. After 100 years, the school has become a museum. Old text books, student’s uniforms, musical instruments and photographs are displayed in the school.

Local officials have refurnished the school this year and have celebrated its 100^th anniversary.
