Mongolian school students will be banned from using mobile phones during lessons at school from 1 October, after Cabinet passed what it called a law for a younger generation increasingly addicted to screens. The ban will limit addiction to social media and smartphones among students and aims to help for focusing on studying. However, pupils can use their mobile phones during lesson breaks.
Statistically, Mongolia is 3.6 times more active than other Asian countries for Facebook usage among the population.
