‘World Vision Mongolia’ has been implementing the ‘Disaster resistant Ulaanbaatar’ projects for the second year as part of the “Making Cities Resilient” campaign by United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR).

As a part of the project, Songinokhairkhan Emergency Management Department has received DJI Mavic pro drones for fighting wild fires and rescue operations.

Urban risk reduction provides opportunities for capital investments through infrastructure upgrades and improvements, building retrofits for energy efficiency and safety, urban renovation and renewal, cleaner energies, and slum upgrading.
