World Health Organization (WHO) Resident Representative in Mongolia, Sergey Diorditsa presented his letter of credence to Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar on Tuesday 28 August.

Mongolia became a member of the WHO in 1962, and the organization has been appointing representatives to Ulaanbaatar since 1971. Mr. Sergey Diorditsa is a Russian citizen with a PhD in Virology. Previously he has worked at the WHO Office for the Western Pacific and in Bangladesh, North Korea and Ethiopia.
